Janelle S. Green has worked for the Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan, Inc. (KP) for 10 years. She is currently the Manager of the Office of Labor Management Partnership (OLMP). In this role she is responsible for working with senior leaders within KP and the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions to develop and execute initiatives under the National Agreement that have a program wide impact.
Prior to joining the OLMP, Janelle worked in KP’s National Diversity department as a Senior Diversity Consultant. In this role she partnered with leaders at all levels of the organization to develop and implement customized diversity management initiatives to support their regional and national diversity strategies. Before joining KP, she worked for a public policy firm in Oakland, CA where she produced reports on local and state policies affecting affirmative action programs for various municipalities.
Janelle holds a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from San Jose State University. She is a member of the California State Bar, a Certified Health Advocate and a Certified Healthcare Ombudsman/Mediator. Janelle is passionate about advocating for seniors. Prior to joining as a Board Member for Ombudsman Services of Contra Costa County, she served as the City of Richmond representative on the Contra Costa County Area Advisory Council on Aging passion for advocating for seniors and as an Ombudsman Volunteer with the Alameda County Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. In her free time Janelle enjoys traveling, reading and cooking.
