HELPING Abuse Victims Get the Range of Support They Need

WHO We Are

The Elder and Dependent Adult Justice Program facilitates access to the range of care and services often needed by abuse victims and their families. We act as a main point of contact for those who have experienced harm or mistreatment and coordinate personalized support for each individual.

Our services are available to victims of crime in Solano County:

  • Seniors who are 65 and older
  • Dependent adults who are 18-64 with mental and/or physical disabilities that require assistance from others for normal activities and to protect their rights

Working with community partners, we help victims receive the support and services they need—which can range from counseling to compensation to rides to and from appointments. All services are free of charge.

Knowing the signs of abuse and neglect can help you stop the harm or intervene early to help save the health, dignity, assets and even the life of a older or dependent adult.
